We fully support the urgent appeal issued by Pope Leo XIV for the world to pray for peace, warning that the global situation is "moving toward an irreparable abyss" as conflict intensifies. His intention for March is clear: that nations choose dialogue over violence, and that true disarmament becomes possible.
This is a moment for all Christians - Catholics, Protestants, Evangelicals, Charismatics, Orthodox, and Mystics to unite in prayer. But before we intercede for the world, we must first pray for spiritual protection over our families, our groups, our homes. We are living in extraordinary darkness. The horrific revelations of the Epstein files and the looming threat of global war remind us that the struggle is not merely political, military, or social, it is a global spiritual warfare.
In these moments of spiritual battle, try to pray in groups or with your family. Always begin with a prayer of protection:
• Catholics may invoke the Prayer to St. Michael, the Rosary, or the Precious Blood of Jesus.
• Other Christians may begin with Psalm 91 or Psalm 23, calling on the Lord as refuge and shepherd.
• Mystical Christians may invoke the Light of Christ to surround and shield their homes.
Then, from that place of spiritual covering, let us lift our voices to the Lord Christ, with the help of the Holy Spirit, for peace and invoke His divine mercy for the healing of nations, for the conversion of hearts, and for the triumph of light over darkness. (You may light a candle while praying). Pray in the method of your spiritual tradition, or if none, you can use this:
Lord Jesus Christ, our Saviour, and the only source of Light and Love for humanity,
In this hour of darkness upon the earth,
we turn to You as our refuge and our strength.
Place Your shield of protection over our homes,
over our families, and over every heart that seeks You.
Dispel the forces that work in secret and in darkness.
Expose what is hidden, heal what is wounded,
and break the power of every influence
that leads humanity away from truth and peace.
Surround us with Your angels,
fill us with Your wisdom,
and anchor us in Your peace.
May Your Light rise over the nations,
May Your justice flow like living water,
and May Your Love and Peace prevail over every plan of destruction.
Strengthen us for this moment,
unite us in prayer,
and let Your Light and Love overcome every darkness.
